1) You're right about the passage of time. To tell the truth, I wasn't sure what to put in there and it was kind of a way to speed up what was shaping up to be a very long day. I'll either try to find something to put in there or come up with some sort of believable transition.
2)Riol was mentioned during the communication with Ariel through the two-sided scrying mirror. I had forgotten about including him in the lunch as he is one of the less "gelled" characters I've created. I could probably explain why he wasn't at the luncheon (he was on patrol or something to that effect).
3) I wasn't sure about the pendant convo either. I guess I was going with that she was just being playful with Seledra, since Seledra was setting a teasing tone already. I was going to email you about this and ask you how you think it should go, and how much R is willing to or has already told S.
4) I'll see what I can do about making more subtle ebb and flow than full blown "swept off her feet" :)
